This idea was discussed and it was decided that it should go to the CCWG for consideration. Basically, I would like to see ERCOT maintain an Extract Status Report on the ERCOT website (something similar to the Settlements Calendar). Jim Galvin asked me if this would be in lieu of Extract Market Notices and I think that it could be, but wouldn’t have to be. What I don’t like about the notices is that they are not stored on ERCOT.com, so I can not pull up previous notices unless I saved them in my email. Also, some Market Notices have recently acknowledged the need to repost an extract, but did not provide a posting date. The recent large number of Market Notices has made it difficult to keep track of what Operating Days are missing data and when that data is supposed to be posted. I am sure that this would be a manual effort by ERCOT because I doubt that we could get a project approved for it, but I think that it would go a long way toward collecting the data for the SLA. I know that it would save time spent by Market Participants looking for data and would probably free up some time being spent by ERCOT Client Reps that are having to respond directly back to Market Participants questions about extracts. The attached spreadsheet is just a rough idea of some of the fields that might be included in the Status Report. Let me know if you have any questions. Subject: Proposed Extract Status Report Jim, This is probably too late for discussion today, but Tenaska would like to propose an Extract Status Report to be maintained by ERCOT (similar to the settlements calendar). It has become increasingly difficult to keep up with extract publication dates, republication dates, etc. An extracts calendar/status report would reduce both Market Participant and ERCOT time in tracking down specific extract data. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks, Michelle Michelle Trenary Tenaska Power Services Co. Office 817-303-3613 Fax 817-303-1104
