Nodal 101


Nodal 101 is an introduction to the ERCOT nodal market. The course explores the primary market components of the Day-Ahead Market, Real-time Operations, and Congestion Revenue Rights (CRRs). This course is recommended as a prerequisite before taking more advanced courses offered by ERCOT market training.


This high-level course is designed to provide an overview of the Texas nodal market for utility and energy company executives, directors, managers, schedulers, coordinators, dispatchers, controllers, traders, planning engineers, operations engineers, EMS-AGC engineers, engineering technicians, IT support staff, accountants, and others.  


Prerequisites: None

Class time is as follows:
8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
