This workshop provides a detailed demonstration of the MarkeTrak Retail Market issue resolution system.  Topics covered in the MarkeTrak Workshop include reporting, day-to-day issues, Data Extract Variance (DEV) issues, bulk insert, mass update/transition and Administrative Roles.  Changes that will be implemented under Project 70007_01-MarkeTrak Enhancements, Release 3 will also be included in the training.

Registration Information

Training room capacity for this seminar is 50 people.  Registration will be taken on a first-come, first-serve basis, so please keep this in mind when responding. Due to limited space and materials, we cannot guarantee access to the sessions without prior registration. 

Confirmation is subject to ERCOT receiving the required registration through ERCOT's Learning Management System (LMS). If registration is not received, attendees may not be assured of participation in this training. If sufficient interest is shown, additional seminars may be scheduled.

Note:  ERCOT reserves the right to reschedule the class for a future date if there is not sufficient interest in the course offering.

Prerequisite Knowledge

Attendees need to have a basic knowledge of MarkeTrak and have been issued a digital certificate.

 MarkeTrak Enhancements, Release 3 Changes

    • Requirement 4 - Market: Create Bulk Insert Templates and default Submit Validation Flags for API and Bulk Insert defaults to "Off"
    • Requirement 17 - Market: Reporting Improvements
    • Requirement 31 - Market: Change the format of Service history with DUNS for Effected Period and add it to "Submit" when submitter is a TDSP for given DEV LSE Sub-types. Add Logic to determine under which circumstances this field is necessary.
    • Requirement 33 - Market: Provide update via API whenever a Market Participant's visibility to an issue has been removed
    • Requirement 34 - Market: Special Characters, Multi-thread adapter
    • Requirement 36 - Market: Add Email button and Email Capture
