SHORT DESCRIPTION: Notice of issues identified with the Texas Renewable Energy Credit application after August 19, 2021 Production Deployment

LONG DESCRIPTION: On August 19, 2021, production changes were deployed for the Texas Renewable Energy Credit (REC) Trading application. Since the deployment, some REC Account Holders have experienced issues with some functionality. The reported issues are not impacting all accounts and appear to be isolated to specific data related to some accounts or transactions that were pending prior to the new production system being deployed. ERCOT is actively working through these issues and will be implementing corrections over the next couple of weeks through several deployments to the production system. The initial focus is on errors associated with transaction processing and the ability to modify user information.
At this time, ERCOT does not have specific timelines for deployment of all fixes to the production system. Multiple deployments of fixes may be necessary to correct errors for some existing transactions completed by REC Account Holders. ERCOT will provide additional Market Notices as necessary as issues are identified and rectified.
