SHORT DESCRIPTION: Date Change - Resource Integration and Ongoing Operations-Resource Services (RIOO-RS) February Release

INTENDED AUDIENCE: Resource Entities

DAYS AFFECTED: February 26, 2021

LONG DESCRIPTION: ERCOT will implement changes to the Resource Integration and Ongoing Operations-Resource Services (RIOO-RS) system on February 26, 2021.  The following capabilities are being added:  

  • JOU Ownership
  • New Combined Cycle (CC) Flag to identify whether there is a single point of failure
  • Combined Cycle Configurations
  • Combined Cycle Transitions 

Users may experience intermittent outages between the hours of 10 AM and 12 PM.

Any Resource Entity desiring to make updates to Combined Cycle Generation Resource configurations and transitions will be able to submit after February 26, 2021 outage.

Resource Entities will continue to submit RARFs for new Generation Resources, Settlement Only Distribution Generators (SODGs), or Load Resources as Service Requests through the Market Information System (MIS) in accordance with the current Resource Registration process.   A subsequent release of the RIOO-RS system will enable Resource Entities to submit data for new Generation Resources, SODGs, and Load Resources, and allow retirement of the RARF.
