SHORT DESCRIPTION: Notification of Suspension of Operations (NSO) for Luminant Generation Company LLC (TRSES_UNIT6)

INTENDED AUDIENCE: ERCOT Market Participants

DAY AFFECTED: Comments due by December 21, 2020

LONG DESCRIPTION: ERCOT received an NSO for the following Resource:

• Luminant Generation Company LLC - TRSES_UNIT6

The NSO indicates that the Resource will be decommissioned and retired permanently as of April 29, 2021. The NSO further indicates that the Resource has a summer Seasonal Net Max Sustainable Rating of 235 MW, and a summer Seasonal Net Minimum Sustainable Rating of 70 MW.  A copy of the NSO is posted under the Notification of Suspension of Operations portlet on the Generation page of the ERCOT Market Information System (MIS) Secure Area.  An ERCOT Digital Certificate is required to access the MIS Secure Area.  

ACTION REQUIRED: Please send any comments you may have regarding the NSO to RMRcomments@ercot.com, with “Luminant Generation Company LLC (TRSES_UNIT6) NSO” in the subject line.  Comments are due no later than December 21, 2020.  All comments will be posted to the Generation page of the MIS Secure Area.
