SHORT DESCRIPTION: Security update to https://gateway.ercot.com

INTENDED AUDIENCE: All Market Participants, User Security Administrators (USAs), Resource Entities

DAYS AFFECTED: November 18, 2020 after 7:00 pm DST (permanent change)

LONG DESCRIPTION: On November 18, 2020 after 7 pm, ERCOT will be updating the security settings for Transport Layer Security (TLS) on the https://gateway.ercot.com site that is used for accessing certain applications from ERCOT.  This update will disable TLS 1.1 security and enable TLS 1.2 only. 

ACTION REQUIRED: In order for your teams to continue accessing this site and applications without any incident, users must have these minimum versions of the Citrix client installed: Workspace App v1912 LTSR or Receiver 4.9 LTSR. Newer versions of Workspace App v1912 LTSR will work. Users with versions of Receiver 4.xx other than the 4.9 LTSR may experience issues using the available applications.

NOTE: No updates to SSL or Client Digital Certificates in regards to these changes.
