SHORT DESCRIPTION: Update - Revised Proposal to Retire Morgan Creek Remedial Action Scheme (RAS)

INTENDED AUDIENCE: All Market Participants

LONG DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT approved the proposal from Oncor Electric Delivery Company LLC (Oncor) to retire the Morgan Creek RAS. The Morgan Creek RAS is designed to monitor the 138 kV line from Morgan Creek to Barber Lake, the 138 kV line from Morgan Creek to Sun Switch, and the 138/69 kV autotransformer at Morgan Creek. Oncor has completed transmission system changes in the area, including an upgrade to the 138/69 kV autotransformer terminal at Morgan Creek.

The Morgan Creek RAS was originally scheduled to be retired on November 18, 2020, but has since been rescheduled to retire on December 2, 2020.
