SHORT DESCRIPTION: Implementation Details of NPRR935

INTENDED AUDIENCE: ERCOT Market Participants

DAYS AFFECTED: August 7, 2020

LONG DESCRIPTION: On August 7, 2020, Protocol language related to Nodal Protocol Revision Request (NPRR) 935, Post All Wind and Solar Forecasts, will be partially implemented. All language except that in Section 4.2.3, PhotoVoltaic Generation Resource Production Potential, will be implemented.

The NPRR requires ERCOT to post Hourly Short-Term Wind Power Forecast (STWPF), Short-Term PhotoVoltaic Power Forecast (STPPF), Wind-powered Generation Resource Production Potential (WGRPP), and PhotoVoltaic Generation Resource Production Potential (PVGRPP) values from each forecast model and an indication of which model is being used on the Market Information System (MIS) Public Area.

ERCOT will be publishing the hourly wind forecast values from all models in the following new report on the Market Information System (MIS) Public Area:

• EMIL ID NP4-442-CD | Report Type ID 19385 | Hourly System-wide and Regional STWPF and WGRPP by Forecast Model

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Pursuant to Nodal Protocol Section 21.6, Nodal Protocol Revision Implementation, ERCOT is required to provide notice as soon as practicable, but no later than ten days prior to implementation.
