SHORT DESCRIPTION:  Notification of Suspension of Operations (NSO) for Southwest Mesa (SW_MESA_SW_MESA)

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  ERCOT Market Participants

DAY AFFECTED:  Comments due June 13, 2019

LONG DESCRIPTION:  ERCOT received an NSO for the following Generation Resource:

·       West Texas Wind Energy Partners, LP (Resource Entity) – Southwest Mesa (SW_MESA_SW_MESA)

The NSO indicates that the Resource Entity will decommission and retire the Generation Resource permanently on November 15, 2019.  The NSO further indicates that Southwest Mesa (SW_MESA_SW_MESA) has a summer Seasonal Net Max Sustainable Rating of 80 MW, and a summer Seasonal Net Minimum Sustainable Rating of 0 MW.

A copy of the NSO is posted under the Notice of Suspension of Operations portlet on the Grid/Generation page of the ERCOT Market Information System (MIS) Secure Area.  An ERCOT Digital Certificate is required to access the MIS. 

ACTION REQUIRED:  Please send any comments you may have regarding the NSO to RMRcomments@ercot.com, with “Southwest Mesa (SW_MESA_SW_MESA) NSO Application” in the subject line.  Comments are due no later than June 13, 2019.  All comments will be posted to the Grid/Generation page of the MIS Secure Area.
