SHORT DESCRIPTION:  Implementation details for NPRR749

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  CRR Account Holders and Counter-Parties

DAY AFFECTED:  May 7, 2019

LONG DESCRIPTION:  On May 7, 2019, Protocol language related to Nodal Protocol Revision Request (NPRR) 749, Option Cost for Outstanding CRRs, will be implemented.

Following implementation, clearing prices for all outstanding Congestion Revenue Rights (CRRs) that were previously awarded or allocated for the month(s) of a CRR Auction will be published in a new field titled “ShadowPricePerMWH” which will be added to the CRR Auction’s Baseloading download file. For each CRR Auction, the new field will be blank at the time that the Auction Notice zip file (Monthly Auction Notice (EMIL ID: NP7-805-M, Report ID: 11200) and Annual Auction Notice (EMIL ID: NP7-804-M, Report ID: 11202)) is posted, and it will be populated when Auction Results are published, using the calculated clearing prices from that CRR Auction. Additionally, the Baseloading file(s) will be added to the Monthly and Annual Auction Results zip files  (Monthly Auction Results (EMIL ID: NP7-803-M, Report ID: 11201) and Annual Auction Results (EMIL ID: NP7-802-M, Report ID: 11203)) posted to the Market Information System (MIS) Public Area.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:  Pursuant to Protocol Section 21.6, Nodal Protocol Revision Implementation, ERCOT is required to provide notice as soon as practicable, but no later than ten days prior to implementation.
