SHORT DESCRIPTION:  Posting of the 2018 High Impact Transmission Elements (HITE)

INTENDED AUDIENCE:  ERCOT Market Participants

DAY AFFECTED:  March 1, 2019

LONG DESCRIPTION:  On February 26, 2019, the High Impact Transmission Elements (HITE) list (EMIL ID NP3-153-M, Report ID 14756) for 2018 will be posted to the Market Information System (MIS) Secure area.  The HITE list is created from the Major Transmission Element (MTE) list that was approved by the Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) at its September 26, 2018 meeting.  The 2018 HITE list will go into effect on March 1, 2019.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:  The HITE list is posted pursuant to Section 3.1.5.13, Transmission Report, of the ERCOT Protocols.  The 2018 HITE list will be posted on the “Transmission Outages” portlet on the Transmission page of the MIS Secure Area.
