INTENDED AUDIENCE: ERCOT Market Participants

DAYS AFFECTED: May 01, May 02, and May 06, 2024

LONG DESCRIPTION: ERCOT will be performing planned system maintenance of several databases and applications on May 01, May 02, and May 06 2024

During the May 01, 2024 16:30 – 19:30 outage window, report publishing will be unavailable, including the following:

  • Report publishing to the ERCOT MIS
  • Downloading of extracts and reports from the MIS and EWS

During the May 02, 2024 16:30 – 19:30 outage window, all services available through the Market Information System (MIS) will be unavailable, including the following:

  • Report publishing to the ERCOT MIS
  • Downloading of extracts and reports from the MIS and EWS
  • Net Dependable Capability and Reactive Capability (NDCRC)
  • Congestion Revenue Right (CRR) Market User Interface
  • Find ESIID and Find Transaction
  • Market Data Transparency (MDT) Web Services
  • Extract Subscriber
  • Service Requests
  • ERCOT.com

During this outage window, please use the following URLs to directly access the Market Manager, CRR Market User Interface, and Outage Scheduler: 

During the May 06, 2024 16:30 – 19:00 outage window, Market Participants may experience intermittent issues with the following services:

Components of the ERCOT Market Information System (MIS), including:

  • Report Publishing to the MIS
  • Downloading of extracts and reports from MIS and External Web Services (EWS)
  • ERCOT.com dashboards and displays
  • Market Participant Identity Management (MPIM)
  • Market submissions and requests via Web Services, Market Manager, and Outage Scheduler
  • Current Day Report (CDR) report publishing and downloading, which may cause the following reports to be unavailable:
    • SCED and RTD Reports
    • NSA Active and Inactive Constraint Reports
    • State Estimator Reports
    • Real-Time Dynamic Rating Data Reports
    • Wind Power Production - Actual 5-Minute Averaged Values
    • Solar Power Production - Actual 5-Minute Averaged Values


Note that the outage start times may be delayed depending on the current system conditions.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Reports will be rerun and reposted as applicable. ERCOT.com dashboard displays will not be populated with data during the May 06, 2024 16:30 – 19:00 timeframe.
