| Description: |
This Protocol Revision Request will provide ERCOT with a tool that will enable incremental online capacity upon ERCOT issuing an Alert due to a capacity short supply situation. This Protocol change will also allow QSEs to represent their previously stranded capacity as available and capable of being loaded to their full real-time capability during an Alert due to a capacity short supply situation.
|
| Reason: |
Minimize the need and cost associated with the EILP, but still provide ERCOT with a tool to address system Alerts due to a capacity short supply situation.
