| Description: |
This PRR revises the â??Kâ?? factor in the compliance formula from 0.81 to 1.0.
|
| Reason: |
Section 6.10.5.3, Regulation Services Monitoring Criteria, contains the formula for SCE compliance. The formula contains a factor named â??Kâ??, which is currently set at 0.81. This factor is an ERCOT wide market participation factor and is derived by taking the square root of 65%. 65% represented the portion of the market that was supplying regulation. Since the complete market is currently being measured by this criteria the â??Kâ?? factor should represent a 100% of the market and be reset to 1.0.
