For many real-time data reports, ERCOT is offering XML (eXtensible Markup Language), machine-readable raw data for market participants' use. This XML data does not include formatting. It does include a caching mechanism to improve response time.
Each XML report includes a version number of the report. From time to time, ERCOT may update a report and provide the new version on ERCOT.com. Market participants may verify that their systems are using the most recent version of a report by referring to the version number provided within the XML.
Market participants are responsible for setting up their own reports based on the XML data. For questions, please contact webmaster@ercot.com.
Note: XML data may change; please refer to version numbers. Currently, ERCOT does not provide XML for every report.
