Jean Ryall is vice president of energy policy with Constellation Energy Group, Inc. (“CEG”). She is responsible for CEG’s regulatory and legislative interests in Texas. An active participant in electric restructuring matters, Ms. Ryall has over 20 years experience in the electric utility industry. She has participated in proceedings directing legislative and regulatory affairs activities primarily within the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT).

Ms. Ryall has regularly appeared and testified before legislative committees and regulatory commissions representing clients from a wide range of industries on a broad spectrum of issues including electricity, water, natural resources, environmental regulation, tort reform, asbestos litigation reform, telecommunications, insurance, transportation, banking and financial institutions and appropriations. Ms. Ryall currently serves on the ERCOT Board of Directors representing the independent power marketers segment.

Prior to joining Constellation, Ms. Ryall was in private practice representing clients before the Texas Legislature and various state agencies, boards and commissions. Other previous experience includes Enron Corp., where she was senior director of government affairs responsible for legislative and regulatory activities in Texas and Oklahoma and the Lower Colorado River Authority where she served as the government affairs officer. Ms. Ryall holds a bachelor’s degree from St. Edwards University and a juris doctorate from St. Mary’s School of Law.
