Kevin Gresham, VP Government Relations & External Affairs for E.ON North America, LLC, has more than 30 years of electric industry experience.
Mr. Gresham directs E.ON’s governmental relations, federal and state regulatory activities, and public affairs across North America. Recently appointed to the Department of Commerce’s Renewable Energy & Energy Efficiency Advisory Committee, he also serves on the ERCOT Board of Directors as the Independent Generator Segment member. In addition, Mr. Gresham serves as Vice Chair of the Solar Energy Industries Association’s Federal Affairs Committee and on The Wind Coalition’s Executive Committee. He also participates in the American Wind Energy Association’s (AWEA) legislative, public affairs and transmission committees.
Mr. Gresham previously chaired the AWEA State Policy Central Region Caucus and served on the Texas Renewable Energy Industries Board of Directors. He also has served on the ERCOT Technical Advisory Committee and as chairman of the ERCOT Protocol Revision Subcommittee for nine years. He has been very active in ERCOT market development since the late 1990s, including the design of the current ERCOT nodal market.
Prior to joining E.ON, he was Director of RTO Policy for RRI Energy, where he was involved in PJM, MISO, California and the West. Mr. Gresham has a Master of Business Administration from Houston Baptist University and a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications from Illinois State University.
